Giant Monkey Puzzle Linoprint at Batsford Arboretum - 8th to 12th April 2018

Come and make your mark on a giant monkey pussle linoprint. Have a free min lino lesson and bring the family.

Textural Printmaking at Westonbirt Arboretum - 14th April 10am to 4pm 2018

You will learn how to create a textural cardboard plate [collagraph] that you can use many times to make individual and creative prints.
Create a printing plate from different materials collaged together onto a cardboard base. The plate can be printed with an etching press and by hand with different inking methods to create numerous prints.
Come and have a full day in the Arboretum and take home a bountiful supply of original prints

Traditional Etching - 6 sessions 9.30 to 12.30 Starts 17th April 2018
at GPC, Unit 16c Griffin Mill, London Road, Thrupp Nr Stroud. GL5 2AZ

Using traditional methods learn how to use hard & soft grounds. Aqua tint and sugar lift.
Etching was originally invented in the 16th century. You will be guided during the 6 sessions to create etchings on a zinc plate & print them using the Gloucestershire Printmakers facilities & studio. Cost £160 for 6 session including materials

Collagraph workshop at New Brewery Arts, Cirencester - 5 session 10 am to 1pm starts Friday 27th April 2018

Over the 5 sessions you will learn how to create a textural cardboard plate [Collagraph] that you can print in many different ways.
cost £110 including materials

Mono printing with plant materials at Westonbirt Arboretum 19th May 2018 10am to 4pm

Create beautiful botanical prints using plant materials collected from around the arboretum.
Experiment with colour & texture. Print onto paper and fine white cotton.

Monoprinting with Drawing at West Dean College, Chichester 24th to 26th August 2018

Mono printing is a painterly way to use print to make one off images. Make initial studies in the gardens and then experiment with combining drawings and mono prints to produce characterful and colourful prints.
Cost £244 for the 2 days
